Tour de Guelph supports Guelph General Hospital and many other local charities through the Rotary Clubs of Guelph South and Guelph Trillium.
This year, Guelph General Hospital urgently needs three new ultrasound machines.
Ultrasounds are a crucial part of modern medicine. Each year, the Hospital does more than 25,000 scans! The recommended lifespan of an ultrasound machine is seven years. More than half of Guelph General’s machines are over a decade old. New ultrasound equipment produces incredibly sharp images. That means doctors can diagnose problems more accurately. Also, upgrading will put state-of-the-art scanners in every exam room that can do any type of ultrasound procedure. Which will dramatically improve workflow, allowing technologists to see more patients in a day. Thank you for supporting Guelph General Hospital through Tour de Guelph!
