Choose your registration type carefully! Once you are registered, we will not be able to make changes or process refunds.
NEW THIS YEAR! Choose Fundraise-to-Ride OR Register as a Free-wheeler.
Fundraise-to-Ride: When you agree to fundraise a minimum amount per rider, we will waive the registration fee for each registered rider! YES, you read that correctly! You can ride for free when you fundraise! Choose this option and you will not be charged a registration fee! On the day after the event, if you have not met your minimum fundraising goal, your credit card will be charged for the balance of the fundraising commitment. Note that you can set a higher fundraising goal to try to win one of the amazing top fundraiser prizes, but with no obligation to meet your higher goal. As long as you reach the minimum fundraising requirement, we will not charge your credit card.
The following minimum fundraising commitments are required for the Fundraise-to-Ride registration:
Fundraise a minimum of $50 for 5k/10k loop and the 25k road route, presented by Label Design.
Fundraise a minimum of $100 for the 40k and 70k multi-surface route, and the 50k and 75k road route.
Fundraise a minimum of $150 for the 100k road route and the 160k century ride road, presented by Chartwell Retirement Residences.
Free-wheeler: As a Free-wheeler, you pay your registration fee at the time of registration and then you can decide whether or not you wish to fundraise. If you choose to fundraise, you set your own goal with and you have no obligation to meet your goal. You may still qualify for top fundraiser prizes. Note however, that we will not refund your registration fee should you meet any of the Fundraise-to-Ride fundraising requirements. The only way to waive your registration fee is to make an up-front commitment to fundraise by choosing the Fundraise-to-Ride option at the time of registration.
Register as an individual, start a team or join a team.
You may register as an individual, start a team as part of The Bike Shed’s Community Team Challenge, or you can a join team that is already registered. When you join a team, you have full flexibility to register in

Option to Purchase or Fundraise for a Tour de Guelph 2019 Jersey
This year, all riders to raise $300 or more will automatically receive a cycling jersey. Whether you choose to Fundraise-to-Ride or Free-Wheeler, we will give you a Jersey if you reach the $300 fundraising goal.
Jersey’s come in adult and kids sizes, be sure to state your jersey size at the time of registration in case you meet the fundraising milestone.
You also have the option of purchasing a jersey at the time of your registration.
All those to meet the $300 fundraising milestone or to purchase a jersey with their registration by Thursday May 9th will receive their jersey on the day of the event. All others will be delivered 4 to 6 weeks following the event.

Rider-T for first 500 Registrants
The first 500 to register will receive a complimentary cotton Rider-T. Last year we gave away a comfy long-sleeved T-shirt. They were so well received that we plan to do the same again this year!

Tour de Guelph 2019 offers eight routes:

Note that distances are not exact, they may vary by a few kilometers. Detailed route maps are available on the Routes & Info page.
If you want to change your route distance, you can do this on the day of the event. There may be a price increase if you choose a longer route. We can not offer refunds if you choose to switch to a shorter route.
